Large Pekapeka pendants, hand carved from whalebone. EYES WIDE is a wonderful necklace hand made from this gorgeous, grainy, elemental material. The pāua shell eyes provide a colourful contrast to the bone. They smolder and move between purple and blue when hit by light.

EYES WIDE is an exquisite piece of art to wear! These are a simple, unadorned pekapeka design that really lets the texture of the material come to the fore. Whale bone is a porous material (that's what gives it the beautiful grain) and will absorb body oils. It will take on a golden colour over time. The changes in the look of these pieces is a reflection of their partnership with the owner, so a custom piece truly becomes a part of you.
