JADE CURLICUE - ONE ONLY
A spectacular, flower jade koru sculpture. Hand carved by our wonderful New Zealand Jade Carver - Ric Moor.
JADE CURLICUE is a large Koru - weighty and bold! The stone is a high quality New Zealand Flower Jade and carved to best present this gorgeous material to best effect - masterfully achieved here by Ric.
The stand is carved from a greywacke boulder. This particular piece has a lovely soft greenish hue which really offsets the dark green jade beautifully.
JADE CURLICUE is a fantastic showcase piece - New Zealand Flower Jade and a sculpted stand in Greywacke stone. A fantastic and very memorable gift.
The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’. The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
We have one only.
