RAOUL RANGER
In stock
A beautifully carved and very expressive Jade Matau culminating in a graceful whaletail. We've named this piece the RAOUL RANGER because Raoul Island in our Northern water sees a gathering of Humpback whales in such large numbers that its been called Grand Central Station for these mighty sea dwellers.
In New Zealand Maori tradition the fish hook represents prosperity, abundance, strength and determination and is also worn to show a respect for the ocean. Wear this amulet for safety when travelling, particularly over water.
The Hook: The wearer of a Hei-Matau is seen as a provider and protector who is strong willed and determined to succeed in life - what a lovely sentiment to gift to someone important to you.
A fabulous gift for someone special - which includes yourself.
