JADE MATAU has a wonderful slender and beautifully balanced shape. It is carved from New Zealand flower jade with it's characteristic coloured green, orange hues. Kerry has finished it with a satin/matte polish which gives the stone a wonderful feel and leaves its variations beautifully evident.

The matau, or hook pendant is revered throughout the South Pacific as a symbol for life, well-being and prosperity.
