NIGHT OWL - we carved this piece to symbolise wisdom, knowledge and guidance. What better way to express these ideals than with a wise old owl!

NIGHT OWL is carved from a gorgeous dark Australian Black Jade. Every pendant is handmade and unique.

The Australian Black Jade is a deep black colour with some pale striations in some of the pieces. These, where they occur, are natural structures that form with the stone where minerals are wrapped into the jade during its formation.

We have two options available; please use the drop-down menu to make your selection.

In New Zealand we have a native owl - the Ruru - this inspired, and is the model for, this design. The Ruru is a night owl in the true sense of the word - they are small nocturnal hunters, mostly heard and not seen. So we have brought them into the light in this little carving - a little piece of New Zealand to carry with you always.

NIGHT OWL - a visually striking piece of carved art which will appeal to those of you who are fascinated by creative carving using natural materials.
