SAHARA'S OASIS is a medium sized piece - carved from a beautifully varied coloured piece of New Zealand pounamu. The koru flow towards the centre and meet as three defined points - a beautiful symmetry, balanced and wonderfully carved.
Look at the photos and the video to appreciate the quality of the carving and the lovely design. Imagine wearing this koru against your skin - there is nothing quite like the feel of jade.
The Koru, represents a young, unfurling fern frond opening and bringing new life and purity to the world. It also represents peace, tranquility and spirituality, along with a strong sense of growth or new beginnings.
