Carved from New Zealand Jade by Rueben Tipene.
WHITI is a large Toki - it is designed and carved with precise, bold lines and beautiful subtle angles that become apparent when hit by light.
Rueben has used a wonderful, subtly coloured piece of stone with the beautiful colours this pounamu is renowned for.
WHITI is a piece to be worn and enjoyed! This piece is a size that anyone can wear, and being jade should be worn 24/7 - a constant companion.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!
Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges.
