Description

YELLOW EYE - A hand carved Australian Black Jade pendant for all you lovers of penguins!

This really is a glorious piece - beautifully carved and polished to a low shine. The black jade is superb and glows with the spirit of this little fighter!

The Black Jade has surface 'fractures', these occur naturally in the stone as a result of mineral inclusions present when the jade is forming. This is an aesthetic 'flaw' only.

We've named this after our very own Yellow Eyed penguin. These are found on the South Eastern coast of our South Island and are endangered. We've decided to add one to their number with this little piece in Black jade.

A beautiful piece of jewellery or equally a proud, free-standing figurine. 

YELLOW EYE is lovingly packaged in a woven kete pouch.
