This is a lovely, quirky piece from the bench of one of our favourite artists - Fumio Noguchi. Here, he has carved a huhu grub - a longhorn beetle endemic to New Zealand.
This piece is carved with beautiful simplicity by Master Bone Carver Fumio Noguchi. Fumio has carved this in cow bone so it is made to be worn - it is a quirky piece that will bring someone a lot of joy!
We love the influence takes from his Japanese culture, and translates that in his carved art - it is quite unique, exceptionally well crafted and always beautiful.
