BEYOND THE FEAR is a unique, eye-catching pendant, crafted with a beautiful traditional binding. Its visual strength, flawless lines, and ocean-inspired design make it an ideal choice for anyone looking for a gorgeous piece of traditional jewellery. Watch the video to see its stunning materials and craftsmanship.

The matau, or hook pendant is revered throughout the South Pacific as a symbol for life, well-being and prosperity. Its significance arises from the key role that fishing has played in sustaining island families and communities. The owner of a good hook was respected and held a place of authority in the community. It is worn for protection when travelling - especially over water.

Please note - the photo shown in the hand is for size reference only. If you would like a different coloured cord and binding please let us know in the comments section at checkout.

We provide these on hand plaited adjustable cords and will also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Hook design.
