The Koru heart is all about new beginnings - the courage to successfully deal with anything the future has in store for you. 

The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful, an asset to the tribe.

Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.
