GREEN DREAMING
In stock
GREEN DREAMING is carved from a lovely piece of local New Zealand pounamu - a milky, deep green Marsden jade that lends this piece a slightly mysterious aura. It was carved for us by Ric Moor.
GREEN DREAMING is suspended from a fine 4-plait dark brown cord which can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots. The binding is also a dark, Wapiti brown.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.
The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
