HAPPY HOUR
In stock
A beautiful, smaller sized Toki crafted by New Zealand jade carver Ric Moor.
HAPPY HOUR is a small piece carved from beautiful dark Marsden jade - it has wonderful planes and angles and will make someone a fabulous gift!
We have suspended this piece from a fine 4-plait black cord. This is adjustable so you can position it where you like it best. A fine, small piece of art to wear.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.
The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
