A fabulous representation of the unfurling fern frond, representing re-birth, growth and development. A beautiful large piece of sculptural art for yourself or to gift.

This piece has real form, Ross has carved it with depth in the body, and a large decorative curling koru.  The stone Ross has used for this piece is exceptional - New Zealand Marsden Flower Jade with its glorious mix of deep green and rusty orange inclusions. A piece that beautifully reflects our land.

The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’.  The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
