A spectacular, New Zealand Jade disc sculpture. Hand carved by one of our favourite New Zealand jade artists - Ric Moor.
INSPIRATION is a largish disc and is a fabulous display of New Zealand Jade. It is a gorgeous display of unspoiled, natural stone - both the disc and the base. Ric has carved a small divot in the centre on both sides - a paper thin, central focal point which draws the eye to the middle of this wonderful sculpture.
Backlit with a lamp, the jade displays a variable translucence. A little artwork that is quite unique.
The disc is displayed on a Greywacke stand - the Greywacke is a piece of stone Ric collected from the beach in front of his house - a fitting cradle for INSPIRATION.
