Description

MOTHERLAND - Kokopu Jade Koru Pendant

The Pounamu used for this medium-large sized and beautifully carved Koru is stunning! A truly original and unique carving made from kokopu jade with colours and inclusions we are unlikely to see again!

Hold MOTHERLAND up to the light - it is gorgeous! A semi translucent stone with fascinating organic patterning that add edge and make it distinctive and unique.

The finish is a bright polish, buffed to a point where the stone is best highlighted. This particular finish draws out the colours of the stone, and gives a clear window to the beauty of its interior.

This is a beautiful pendant if you are looking for a standout piece of handmade jewellery.

The koru is worn as a symbol of re-birth, growth and development. It represents the unfurling fronds of the fern, and is typically carved with delicate spirals and decorative swirls - this is a superb example.

MOTHERLAND is lovingly packaged in a woven kete pouch.

Delivered to you on an adjustable cord and shipping with Express Courier is included in the price.

We will also include one of our 'Kia ora' cards which explains the meaning behind the Koru design.

The threshold for Express Courier versus International Airmail varies by country, and you'll see exactly which option applies (along with the cost of any upgrades, if you'd like one) at checkout. For New Zealand orders, all parcels are shipped with an express, tracked courier service. One thing's for sure: you'll always be offered a free shipping option at checkout, and all packages are fully tracked. For estimated delivery times to your country, just head to our 'Shipping Information' page. Returns are part of our service to you. If you're not happy with what you've received, just let us know and we'll arrange a replacement, a refund or a store credit. If you request a refund, we're happy to provide one — we'll refund the full purchase price less our shipping costs. Please return the item unworn and in its original packaging. Please visit our 'Returns' page for the specific details.
