Feel the sleek form of tradition with SUNNY HILL! This beautiful piece of hand crafted jewellery combines classic grace with modern style, creating a look that's really quite special. Ric has given the toki a little swing, a little form to accentuate the stone. Best of all, you'll feel sunnier wearing SUNNY HILL! 🤩
SUNNY HILL - the stone is a beautiful orange and green colour with an almost 'liquid' look towards the edge of the blade. Slip it over your head and you'll be donning a stunning piece of wearable art.
SUNNY HILL is carved from a lovely piece of local New Zealand flower Jade. The quality of the workmanship and design is what you would expect from Ric Moor - this is a piece you will want to wear all the time.
SUNNY HILL is suspended from a fine 4-plait beige cord which can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots and has a beige binding.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.
The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
