THE QUIET WATCH - Small, delicate hand carved whale tail pendants - beautifully golden and petite works of art! Hand Carved in Ancient Woolly Mammoth Tusk.

Woolly mammoth tusk is one of our favourite materials. A giant, elephant-like creature that's long gone, but still loved! The grain and different hues in the tusk makes every piece unique. We have polished these pieces to a high shine to reveal and highlight the beauty of this rare material.

The Mammoth Tusk used for this piece is CERTIFIED 34,690 YEARS OLD (+/- 815 years). All our Woolly Mammoth pieces come with our certificate of authenticity.

We had our mammoth material carbon dated to get an accurate measure of its age. The testing was done for us by GNS Science, a New Zealand Crown Research Institute and New Zealand's leading provider of Earth, geoscience and isotope research - so their assessment of this material is as accurate as is possible using radiocarbon dating technology.  

These eye-catching whaletail pendants make beautiful, smaller necklaces.

We provide these with a hand-plaited cord which is length adjustable. We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the koru design you see carved at the top of the whale tail.

Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
