A glorious flower jade Koru pendant. This piece really is a stunner! The stone is a New Zealand flower jade carved to highlight the features that make it special - a variation in colour from a golden sand at the top through a mottled, pale minty green in the majority of the carving. Also beautiful features are the Flower Jade Toggle Popper at the top and the cord embracing the carving's circumference. We love this piece!
The finish is a buffed sheen.
The koru is worn as a symbol of re-birth, growth and development. It represents the unfurling fronds of the fern, and is typically carved with delicate spirals and decorative swirls - this is a superb example.
This is a beautiful pendant if you are looking for a standout piece of handmade jewellery. Graeme has made a little Rimu stand for this pendant so you can display it when it's not being worn.
