AROHA TINO NUI
A large, double twist with a fine central koru. This is a beautiful piece, carved for us by Ross Crump - he has again carved a design that promotes the stone he has used, a soft and subtly coloured New Zealand Flower Jade.
We've added a cord in our new Sahara colour, with a Burnt Gold Popper, to really highlight the colours in the pounamu.
This is a feminine and delicate pendant that will warm your heart. A pendant made and filled with Aroha - Love.
Look at the photos and watch the short video that we have made showing this pendant slowly revolving. It will give you the best views of the carving and the varied colours in the jade.
AROHA TINO NUI - a wonderful, unique pendant.
The twist carving with its crisscross form represents the many paths of life and love and as such is regarded as the original eternity symbol. The single twist carving represents the joining together of two people for eternity. Its shape describes the way relationships shift, sometimes moving apart, but coming together as a couple share their lives.
It represents how the strong bond of friendship, loyalty and love last forever.
The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’. The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
Shipping with Express Courier is included in the price.
We will also include our 'Kia Ora' cards, explaining the meaning behind both the twist and koru designs.
