A beautiful handcrafted cross.
A simple jade cross, hand carved in black jade. This is a lovely tactile piece that asks to be held and handled. It is very solid and a lovely deep black colour which we have polished to a dull sheen.
Please note that these are carved from solid pieces of raw black jade which is then polished. Some of the jade has pale striations in places. These are not faults in the stone, they are mineral inclusions that settled in the jade when it formed. We love these variations - they make each piece an individual - a 'one-off'.
