CHAMPION - Guide and Protect - who is the CHAMPION in your life?
CHAMPION is a wonderful large flowing manaia, hand carved from dark green New Zealand Marsden Jade. The stone is a matte green - lovely consistent and luscious - it glows when lit from behind.
This is a wonderfully crafted pendant - Ric's handiwork clearly evident. CHAMPION is an authentic, grounded piece of art which has been carved to wear. Over time the jade's patina will change with wear and we think, will become more beautiful.
A little about the manaia design....
The Manaia: a mythical being believed to be the invisible light, or aura, surrounding a person. They represent spiritual power and are believed to be the guide that leads the spirits to heaven. They are worn to guide and protect.
We will ship CHAMPION to you with DHL Express Courier on a four plaited, adjustable Creme cord. We will also include our 'Kia Ora' card, explaining the meaning behind the Manaia design.
