This is a 'one-off' piece carved for us by Ross Crump. A medium to larger sized, complex Koru. CLOSE EMBRACE is beautifully carved, a large and balanced koru in a wonderfully coloured New Zealand flower jade.
Look at the photos and the video to appreciate the carving and the variability in the colour of the jade. Wear this on one side and you have an eye-catching, detailed and edgy piece of jewellery.... wear it on the other and it displays as soft and solid.
The Koru, represents a young, unfurling fern frond opening and bringing new life and purity to the world. It also represents peace, tranquility and spirituality, along with a strong sense of growth or new beginnings.
We ship this to you on a hand plaited olive adjustable cord and will also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the koru design.
