A small, striking New Zealand Tangiwai Jade pendant. Handcarved from Tangiwai pounamu from Anita Bay in the entrance to Milford Sound.
The name 'Tangiwai' comes from the Māori Tangi which means "to cry" and wai which means "water" or "tears". This is a dark piece of tangiwai, a deep and foreboding green which we've named EIGER.
The toki is a tribal symbol representing strength. It is designed to honour the adze which was used to build, fight, defend and played a important role in the daily survival of ancient tribes.
We deliver this pendant on a hand plaited NATURAL TAN adjustable cord and will also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivered to you with DHL Express Courier.
