Flower Jade Tiki

Out of stock

Hand carved hei-tiki - this is a beautiful exemplar of this very traditional  carved form - a large and spiritually significant carving. Carved from a richly coloured piece of New Zealand Marsden flower jade, this tiki is carved front and back - take a moment to view the video to appreciate this piece in full.

The tiki is believed by some to have come from the stars, and was regarded as the 'first man'. He was (and still is) believed to have a positive influence on fertility, and to bring the wearer good luck.

Wearers of the tiki are believed to possess clarity of thought, loyalty, great inner knowledge and strength of character.

This tiki will be delivered with a hand-plaited, waxed cord in a woven pouch.
