FOREVER FREE - Hand carved for us by Ross Crump - a fantastic artist and carver of jade.

FOREVER FREE is made from beautiful, deep green New Zealand Marsden jade - Pounamu.

The body of this manaia culminates in a fish tail - a gentle organic detail which contrasts with the detail of the carved head. The body is beautifully bellied and rounded - it gives the piece a sense of body and significance and is wonderful to hold.

FOREVER FREE looks fantastic from both sides - take a moment to watch the short video we have made which shows the pendant slowly rotating. This will give you a very clear picture of the shape nuances and the colour of the stone - it's well worth the few moments it will take you to watch it.

The Manaia: a mythical being believed to be the invisible light, or aura, surrounding a person. They represent spiritual power and are believed to be the guide that leads the spirits to heaven. They are worn to guide and protect.

The Hook:  The wearer of a Hei-Matau is seen as a provider and protector who is strong willed and determined to succeed in life - what a lovely sentiment to gift to someone important to you.

This pendant will be delivered to you with DHL Express Courier on a hand plaited adjustable cord. We will also include our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Manaia and Hook design.
