FORTUITOUS - This is indeed an unexpected beauty! We never really know just what the stone will reveal when carved, and this piece has really exceeded our expectations the jade is a wonderful translucent green at the top and descends into pale mints and golds. This is a standout piece in terms of the craftsmanship and the stone.

We have bound this piece with a combination of Manuka Green and Maui Blue cords - colours that complement the design and the stone.

This piece can be worn reversed - each side is quite distinct and shows the wonderfully unique colours this flower jade reveals.

The twist carving with its crisscross form represents the many paths of life and love and as such is regarded as the original eternity symbol. The single twist carving represents the joining together of two people for eternity. Its shape describes the way relationships shift, sometimes moving apart, but coming together as a couple share their lives.

It represents how the strong bond of friendship, loyalty and love last forever.

The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’.  The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.

Shipped with DHL Express Courier. We will also include our 'Kia Ora' cards, explaining the meaning behind both the twist and koru designs.
