HAMMERHEAD TWIST - silent ocean predator
In some cultures the Hammerhead is believed to protect swimmers and fishermen from the Great White! Whatever you believe this is a beautiful little stylised jade shark - made to wear anytime and all the time!
This twist, is carved from New Zealand Flower Jade. A beautiful piece of stone - it is a deep green with pale cloud-like inclusions and a splash of orange on one side. It has been polished to a soft matte.
HAMMERHEAD TWIST - jade art carved for us by Kyohei Noguchi. The best way to appreciate this work is to watch the brief video we have taken of it slowly revolving. Look for the lighter coloured layering in the jade and the slight colour variations - these are the things that make this piece unique.
A little about the twist....
The twist symbolises an unbreakable friendship, a bond that has no beginning and no end. It reflects the natural ebbs and flows that occur in any relationship without breaking the bond.
We provide this with a four plait black adjustable cord. Also included, our 'Kia Ora' card, which explains the meaning behind the twist design.
