“Although it is small, it is still a treasure” - Rueben Tipene

ITI - carved for us by Rueben Tipene. This is an exceptional carving, a wonderful flowing style, made from a stunning piece of stone. Weighty and mysterious, Rueben has carved a kowhaiwhai style design into the front face - this is an original and unique piece of art!

Beautifully designed, and flawlessly crafted, this is a sensual pendant made to wear and handle! The finish is a soft, polished matte. We have plaited a dual coloured cord in our vibrant Cobalt Blue and Cosmos colours. These pick up tones in the stone - and it is length adjustable so you can wear it where it best suits you!

Take a look at this piece if you like bold, expressive and unique jewellery.

Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’.  The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.

This piece is provided on a hand plaited cobalt blue and cosmos, adjustable cord.

We include our 'Kia Ora' card explaining the meaning behind the KORU design.

Shipping to you with Express Courier is included in the price.
