A stunning and significant carved pendant - worthy of Maui's legacy.

This piece combines three materials - inanga jade, kawakawa jade and pāua shell.

Hei-matau, fishhook - a symbol of power and authority, and a talisman for luck. Matau were used as a practical tool for fishing and were often decorated as a sign of respect for the creatures of the sea.

Jade from New Zealand's mountains and pāua from our sea.

This piece will in our view become a family heirloom.
