This piece is one of a kind!
Hand carved from a really fascinating piece of New Zealand Jade. The base colour of the stone is a pale green, the sprinkles of reddish colour are mineral inclusions that have coloured the jade during its formation. This stone would have come from a stone that is close to the outer edge, or crust, of the boulder - you have to love the diversity of colour in our local jade!
The toki is a tribal symbol representing strength. It is designed to honour the adze which was used to build, fight, defend and played a important role in the daily survival of ancient tribes.
We deliver this pendant on a plaited and adjustable cord. We will also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivered to you with DHL Express Courier.
