KAPITI SUNSET - Inspired by an evening photo of this gorgeous island, sent to us by one of our customers.
Kapiti Island is a nature reserve off the coast of New Zealand's lower North Island West Coast. It is one of our oldest reserves - a beautiful place with a vibrant birdlife and gorgeous native flora!
We asked for suggestions for a pendant design and this one struck us as simple and beautiful. This is a place we have visited and enjoyed and can recommend to anyone as a great way to spend a day!
Gift someone you love this beautiful contemporary KAPITI SUNSET pendant and share the love we have for this beautiful Island. Hand carved for us by Sheree Warren.
The cord is a hand plaited Grey and is length adjustable. We've added beautiful bright burnt gold slip knots. These colours were inspired by the sun setting over this beautiful Island.
The jade used to carve KAPITI SUNSET came from the West Coast on New Zealand's South Island. It was been created in the alpine fault and was shaped and given further character in our alpine rivers.
