Love this piece!!

An original, one-off medium-sized Toki carved from Soft Polished New Zealand Jade (Pounamu).

This toki is carved from a lovely piece of jade with a soft, sandy orange head which moves into smokey green colours through the body. To complement the subtle shades of green in the jade we've bound this piece with a beautiful Manuka Green cord and a Khaki binding. The cord has a jade toggle and loop closure and is 44cm (17.3") circumference.

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!

Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.

We provide 'MARE'S TAIL' on a hand plaited Manuka Green cord.

We include our 'Kia Ora' cards explaining the meaning behind both the Toki and Koru designs.

Delivered to you with DHL Express Courier.
