MOJITO
A luscious deep green piece of Pounamu with a wonderful heft for a small piece - MOJITO is a beautiful piece of traditional jewellery.
This is a Toki to wear all the time, you will find it will become a part of your life adventures!
MOJITO is carved from a lovely piece of New Zealand Jade, locally called pounamu. This piece can be worn and enjoyed by anyone.
MOJITO is suspended from a fine 4-plait tan cord which can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots.
The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.
The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
We lovingly package this beauty in a woven kete pouch.
We also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
