GARLAND - this is a real beauty!
A superb example of why we have a particular soft spot for New Zealand jade. This piece looks like a flower GARLAND created by nature, and set in stone.
We have taken photos of the front and the back, and we have made a short video of the pendant slowly revolving - so you can have a very good look at this beautiful carving right here.
The truth is though - it is much nicer 'in the flesh'. We love pendants that
GARLAND is a fantastic jade pikorua pendant.
The twist carving with its crisscross form represents the many paths of life and love and as such is regarded as the original eternity symbol. The single twist carving represents the joining together of two people for eternity. Its shape describes the way relationships shift, sometimes moving apart, but coming together as a couple share their lives.
It represents how the strong bond of friendship, loyalty and love last forever.
The perfect gift for someone whose life is closely linked with yours:
- your partner
A meaningful gift of love.
The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’. The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
Shipped with DHL Express Courier. We will also include our 'Kia Ora' cards, explaining the meaning behind both the twist and koru designs.
