Carved from New Zealand Marsden jade - what an outstanding piece of stone this is! The deep green Pounamu with a splash of gold is highlighted through Ric's handiwork. The gentle curves and edges pick up the colour variation in the stone and present them to best effect.

The very best way to appreciate this work (apart from holding it in your hands) is to watch the brief video we have taken of it slowly revolving. The carved form is slender, slightly edgy and wonderfully balanced.
