A beautiful hand made disc pendant carved from an interesting and lively piece of Bowenite stone. Bowenite is a type of Serpentinite stone that has traditionally been used by Māori to craft tools, jewellery and weapons. Like New Zealand jade it is classed as Pounamu and is regarded as a treasured and valuable stone.
We have paired this pendant with one of our hand plaited Pale honey/Paradise blue combination cords. These colours pick up the variations of colour in the stone and make this beautiful pendant unique and interesting.
This is a unisex, contemporary piece - the variations in the Bowenite Jade are lovely. We have one only and this piece will be removed from our site when sold.
