Ancestors Web is beautifully carved from bone and stained with an onion skin based dye to give it its golden glow. This is a one-off piece which can be worn as a pendant or displayed in a cabinet or on a wall.
A holder of spiritual energy, and a guardian against evil - the manaia is believed to be a kind spirit - a guardian that helps people communicate with their ancestors. It takes many forms, and you often find it intertwined with other shapes and patterns in traditional carving.
