NEW ARRIVAL
PUAKA KORU - a beautiful hand carved koru pendant. Made from our local Marsden jade this is an eye-catching, organic piece of jewellery.
Carved from our beautiful Marsden Flower Jade - this is a lovely large piece of jewellery with a ton of movement, it's big and bold and unique! Take a moment to watch the video we have taken showing PUAKA KORU slowly revolving. You will see the delicate carving, the gorgeous jade and the organic shape of this pendant. It has a lot of variation and will make a fantastic piece of jewellery - from NZ with love!
Check out the colours in the jade! An intriguing mix of greens with a hint of reddish brown - it looks a little different from every angle when the light picks up and reflects the colours.
The cord is length adjustable so you can wear this 'high and handsome' or let it swing 'low-down'! Wherever you position it, it looks fabulous.
This is one piece that we have from a new artist - Ana Krakosky.
You can view more pieces from Ana in her collection HERE.
The Koru: the Māori word for 'loop'. The spiral shaped koru design represents an unfolding silver fern frond. The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to ‘going back to the beginning’. The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, hope and rebirth.
We will also include our 'Kia Ora' card, explaining the meaning behind the Koru design.
