SCRUBLAND - an original medium-sized Toki carved from polished New Zealand Flower Jade.

This is an awesome piece! The colours in the stone remind us of a scrub covered hillside in alpine New Zealand. We've reflected these colours in our choice of cord and binding for this classic piece. It's a one-off beautiful jade toki from New Zealand's heartland.

Have a look at the photos and the short video - this is a standout piece with great colour variance in the stone. It's this colour and structure variation in the stone that makes New Zealand pounamu so special.

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!

Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.

We provide 'SCRUBLAND' on a hand plaited Kalahari and Wapiti Brown adjustable cord.

We include our 'Kia Ora' cards explaining the meaning behind both the Toki and Koru designs.
