SKYWALKER - a gorgeous toki.
We upsized our Warrior Pendant and carved it in this beautiful New Zealand jade - check out SKYWALKER
We have added a fern green and silver grey adjustable cord with a very cool double binding in silver and fern. This reflects the colour nuances in the stone. The beautiful jade is central to this piece - a wonderful piece of New Zealand Kokopu Jade.
SKYWALKER is finished in a polished sheen which helps the jade glow.
SKYWALKER is a strong piece we've designed with an eye to the future. The Koru heart is all about new beginnings - the courage to successfully deal with anything the future has in store for you. The original sky walkers were steelworkers, building skyscrapers - dangerous work for sure!
The jade used for this piece is locally called Kokopu - named after a native fish that is becoming increasingly rare in New Zealand inland streams. The soft speckled appearance of the jade is a little like the colour of this little fish, and is quite rare.
The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful ....and this is a good one!
Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.
We include our 'Kia Ora' cards explaining the meaning behind both the Toki and Koru designs.
Shipping is included in the price.
