SWEET SUNSHINE - Hand carved from New Zealand Flower Jade.
The colour of this piece is a wonderful sandy orange with a subtle shade of green. All the result of mineral inclusions in the stone.
The stone used for SWEET SUNSHINE is cut from the rind of a jade boulder - this is where these spectacular colour variations are found. You can be assured there is only one of these little toki!
The toki is a tribal symbol representing strength. It is designed to honour the adze which was used to build, fight, defend and played a important role in the daily survival of ancient tribes.
We deliver this pendant on a plaited kalahari adjustable cord with a wapiti brown binding. We will also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
