A large sized drop pendant, hand carved from some wonderful New Zealand Marsden Jade. This piece is really all about the beautiful piece of jade and the simplicity of the carving. It is gorgeous - simple and flawlessly carved. This pendant will be treasured!
Andy has carved THE ENCHANTED FOREST to highlight the colours in this unique stone - it is a deep green jade with splashes of colour placed in the stone when the jade formed. These colours are a result of mineral inclusions - liquefied in volcanic activity and captured in the jade forever.
The finish is a buffed matte - it looks fantastic and feels silky smooth!
THE ENCHANTED FOREST is made to be worn but also to be held. It feels wonderful in the hand.
We have plaited a cord in Manuka Green - a colour that complements the stone without distracting from its beauty.
This is a lovely pendant, soft to the touch - a true roimata!
