This piece is a beauty - carved and bound in with typical Brian Hill perfection, these are one of our favourite toki designs. They look and feel like they mean business!
The jade Brian uses for these is a lovely dark green colour and he finishes them in a traditional burnished matte.
These make lifelong companions.
Take a note of the cord colour (brown or green) of the piece you would like and let us know your choice in the comments field at checkout
We've included a photo of the beautiful Shotover River to whet your appetite - come and visit!
The toki or adze was an important tool for the polynesian people, used to build meeting houses and shape their sea-going canoes. It has been traditionally worn to give strength and courage to the wearer.
Provided on an adjustable plaited cord and will also include one of our 'Kia Ora' cards, which explains the meaning behind the Toki design.
