This is an original piece of carved art - we have one only.
MOA - the biggest bird of them all! Carved from a gnarly piece of deer antler.
This wonderful pendant was carved for us by Fumio Noguchi. It is quite beautiful and displays his typical, creative flair. In the front side Fumio has carved a pair of intertwined silver fern leaves. These are a symbol of the future - new beginnings, fresh life. On the back is a bird claw imprint - the print of the mighty MOA. A massive bird that once roamed the New Zealand bush.
This is an incredible piece of art, handcarved from the crown of a deer antler - the standard of craftsmanship is superb.
Check out the video. We've taken a very brief clip of MOA slowly revolving. It reveals the incredible structure of the antler and the very clever way that Fumio has carved this piece.
We supply this with a hand plaited khaki cord, so it can be worn as an eye-catching pendant. It will look equally stunning in a display cabinet - this is without a doubt a collectors piece.
