WHAKAHOA - FRIENDSHIP - a lovely and delicate New Zealand Jade twist, carved for us by Ric Moor.
The twist design is locally called a 'Pikorua' and is a symbol of relationships. This is a gorgeous little example, carved in a curved drop shape with a lovely soft matte finish. This showcases the jade beautifully - and it is a lovely piece of Marsden Jade.
WHAKAHOA - FRIENDSHIP looks wonderful worn high on the neck, but can be positioned wherever you like on its adjustable cord. This little twist proves that old saying that GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES!

The twist symbolises an unbreakable friendship, a bond that has no beginning and no end. It reflects the natural ebbs and flows that occur in any relationship without breaking the bond.
This is a really lovely, delicate piece.
