BURNISHED GLOW - a fine twist pendant carved from New Zealand totoweka jade

A piece for someone who likes their jewellery to have a little unexpected character! BURNISHED GLOW is carved from rare New Zealand totoweka jade - distinguished by the shades of red in the stone.

A burnished twist of jade with a subtle, warm glow. Wear it close to the throat or lower on its adjustable cord - it's a petite statement that packs a surprising amount of presence.

The twist design is locally called a 'Pikorua' and is a symbol of relationships. This is a very cool little pendant, carved with an 'arrowhead' shaped bottom and a lovely soft matte finish. This showcases the jade beautifully!
