EMERALD FOREST is a striking toki, hand-carved from rare New Zealand Aotea stone. This exceptionally beautiful material is found only in limited quantities in the remote reaches of South Westland.

Worn to provide strength in overcoming life's challenges, this pendant is a timeless emblem of resilience. EMERALD FOREST will be presented in a traditional woven kete pouch.

The adze is a powerful symbol of strength, courage, and determination. As an essential survival tool, a well-made adze signified a capable and powerful owner. They were used for critical tasks, from carving ocean-going waka (sea canoes) to constructing central meeting houses, placing them at the heart of traditional Māori life.
