ENSŌ - ZEN Circle
Normally drawn with one or two fluid brushstrokes, an ENSŌ represents a moment in time when the mind is free and the body can create unimpeded by worldly constraints. A symbol of total enlightenment, a minimalist symbol for strength and elegance - in this case captured in jade and sterling silver.
The jade we have used for these piece is nephrite - green and black - use the dropdown menu to select the stone that you would like. Each piece is hand carved and original!
The front face has a fine and imperfect inlay of Sterling Silver, a visual representation of the second brushstroke, and a beautiful combination of two materials.
We made a very brief video of ENSŌ slowly rotating. You will see the shape of the pendant, and the colour of the jade very clearly. We show both the green and black jade for you.
ENSŌ is a wonderful example of the beauty found in simplicity. It requires quite some skill to produce a finish like this and we are delighted with the result. The stone is suspended from one of our hand plaited Black (Black Jade piece) or Sage Green (Green Jade Piece) cords. These are adjustable in length. We will ship this to you in a woven kete pouch.
The finish is a buffed sheen.
