RESOLUTE - a striking and edgy Toki pendant, hand carved in stunning New Zealand jade.

RESOLUTE is carved from an exquisite piece of kokopu Jade. It is a mixture of soft green and yellow tones with spotty inclusions along the body - reminiscent of the native fish the stone is named after. Ric has left the edge of the blade rugged and raw showcasing the stones natural beauty.

The neck cord is black and can be adjusted with a couple of slip knots, so you can position this toki exactly where it suits you best.

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength. The adze was a key survival tool, so the owner of a good one was believed to be strong and powerful. They were used to carve ocean-going waka (sea canoes) and to build central meeting houses so they played a central role in traditional life of māori.

The toki is traditionally worn for strength and courage - to assist through life's challenges.
